Code + Generative Art

CODE + GENERATIVE ART

Code and generative art present a new way for Tatum to imagine her ideas. From game design to interactive installations, Tatum has created several projects which explore the interconnectedness between the beauty of art and the technicality of programming. Below are some samples of Tatum’s previous creations in this medium.

ROADS ALIVE

DIGITAL RECORD PLAYER – EXPERIMENT WITH EBSYNTH

Tatum’s digital record player project was inspired by a work she saw called The Crow” by Glenn Marshall. To create this work Tatum filmed several short clips across the Okanagan and then stylized select keyframes in Photoshop. She then composited the finished video into an interactive record player which she coded in Processing.

CYBER SKYFALL
