Decoding my Narrative

Tatum Grundy
Digital Alchemist
Born and raised in Kelowna, Tatum grew up in a household with parents who spoke in code, lived inside of creative software programs like Adobe, and consumed news like no other. It later came as no surprise that she too developed a passion for all things media. This early exposure to the digital world sowed the seeds of a lifelong affinity for digital creation.
In high school, she took it upon herself to learn video editing using Premiere Pro X and master the essentials of Photoshop CC, while simultaneously nurturing her love for writing. Graduating a year and a half ahead of schedule, she landed a position as a copywriter at a marketing company.
Fast forward to today, Tatum is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in digital media studies and computer science at UBC Okanagan to expand her creative toolkit. Even now, she dedicates her free time to crafting copy for various businesses and taking on any creative project that comes her way. Tatum looks forward to graduating in the spring of 2025.
Beyond the glow of the computer screen, Tatum finds joy in outdoor activities and physical exercise. Whether it’s camping, hiking, running, or hitting the gym, she is always ready for an active adventure. Alongside her love for the outdoors, Tatum also indulges in the culinary arts. At one point, she considered pursuing an education in that field before ultimately deciding to focus on media studies.
